Mitchell Crane has a position open at our Bryan facility for Yard Manager.
Job Description:
Yard Manager assists and supports mechanics and welders at the Bryan Yard. The Yard Manager will organize and maintain works in progress so that they may be completed correctly and on time by giving day-to-day support of ongoing projects. The Yard Manager must be a flexible and adaptable team player, as well as have strong communication and organizational skills.
Duties Include:
- Management of yard staff
- Manage completion of ongoing projects according to schedule
- Organize and maintain project work areas
- Maintain shop equipment
- Purchase shop supplies
Job Qualifications:
Applicant must have: Good verbal communication skills; good mechanical understanding; good time management and organizational skills; ability to function effectively as part of a team; dependable; able to understand and follow directions; clean driving record and current driver’s license; experience in management; High school diploma or GED.
